WHEN YOU VISIT THE PULASKI CHURCH OF CHRIST

You may expect to be treated as an honored and respected guest.  You will not be embarrassed in any way, nor solicited for contributions.  Our purpose is to be governed in all things by the Bible alone.  Hence, our worship consists only of those elements which were a part of worship during the first century.  On the first day of the week (Acts 20:7) the Lord’s Supper is commemorated (I Corinthians 11:24-26), God is praised by singing (Colossians 3:16), prayer is offered (I Corinthians 14:15), and the scripture is the basis of all teaching (Acts 2:42).  Each member has an opportunity to give as he has been prospered (I Corinthians 16:1-2).

The Pulaski Church of Christ urges you to investigate!  It is our fervent prayer that you, our friend, will not go to the judgment of Christ without investigating the teachings of the Word of God.  Why?  Because men have made changes and additions to the worship and practice of those who would follow Christ.  While many of these changes may be popular and often practiced, we have absolutely no assurance that these changes are approved by God.  Your existence in eternity depends on what you do now.  We urge you to study the Bible, and follow it as the only infallible guide in religious matters.  We are not a sect; we have no literature to sell; and we offer no creed books, manuals or catechisms.  We earnestly plead with you to investigate the Bible!

The goal of the Pulaski Church of Christ is to extend our hands to all whom we can in order to assist them to a healthier spiritual and physical condition.  We want you to enjoy the blessings of a right relationship to God, as well as a pleasant existence while you are in your “earthly house of this tabernacle (II Corinthians 5:1).  We want you to have an opportunity after this life to live forever with God and His Son in heaven, and we are willing to do whatever is necessary to help you achieve these goals.

We cordially invite you, as our friends, to visit with us during our worship and Bible study periods, and to take advantage of the free services which we offer.

We love you and want what is best for you.  Please allow us to humbly serve you.

Clarence Lavender, minister
